Re: D&D Character Sheet
Alright you are going to have to bear with me a second as this is going to get complex. This is the creation a dragon guide. Any dragons that go through the portal from DRF will share a form with a race of their choice. Weird portal magic is going on and their form is unstable not sure if they are dragon or this new form. You will takes stats and classes for this new form like you would a normal character. At level 1 you can freely swap between either form at will. You assume the stats and proficiencies of the form you take except INT,WIS, and CHA which remain constant no matter the form. If you are a sorcerer human you will not be able to use those spells in dragon form. Hit's you have taken to your HP transfer over proportionately to the next form so if you have 10 HP max as a human and 100 HP max as a dragon and you take 1 damage as a human then swap to dragon form you will then have 90HP as a dragon and visa versa.
At level 2 you are getting your strength back after being thrown through the portal however your form is also stabilizing and it's now rather painful to swap forms as well as it taking a full action to do so.
At level 3 you are getting stronger and your form is stabilizing even more. It is extremely painful to change form and takes 2 full turns of uninterrupted concentration to change.
At level 4 you've nearly gained most your strength back but it is now debilitatingly painful to change form and takes 5 full turns to change.
The moment you hit level 5 you must chose a form you are now stuck in. After you make your choice your character might not realize they are stuck yet. Half dragons from DRF do not follow these rules and can shape shift as a bonus action as they always have. The transference of HP remains the same though.
When creating you character first create your new humanoid form the intelligence, wisdom, and charisma follow over to the dragon form.
For your dragon form you start with the following
8 in all stats
your starting HP is your constitution modifier x2 +25
30 speed
40 flying speed
1-D10 Bite attack which you are proficient in
1-D6 Claw attack which you are proficient in
4-D10 Breath attack with 5 turn cooldown (must choose element starting DC12)
16 AC
30 feet blind sight which will for the purposes of this represent your sense being so sharp you can detect anything and everything within that range with precision accuracy
30 feet dark vision
2 skill proficiencies
1 elemental immunity
2 saving throw proficiency
and lastly 35 points to spend as you see fit
if you are creating a pure dragon that does not do form switching you get the above and 53 points to spend the extra points are due to having to spend points in intelligence, wisdom, and charisma
every level you gain HP equal to your constitution modifier x2+10 so if you have 14 constitution you would get 14 hp you also get 13 more points to spend every level
points can be spent in the following ways
1 point = 1 stat point
10 points = upgrade your AC by 1
8 points = 1 skill proficiency
1 point = 5 more feet of dark vision
2 points = 5 more feet of blindsense
6 points = 5 more feet of ground speed, swim speed, or dig/climb speed
2 points = 5 more feet of flight speed
8 points = upgrades the bite for 1-D10 more damage
6 points = upgrades claw attack for 1-D6 more damage
5 points = unlocks/upgrades the tail attack for 1-D8 more damage
5 stat points = upgrades breath attack by 1-D10
8 points = unlocks the frightful presence skill with a DC of 16
2 points = upgrades the frightful presence DC by 1
2 points = upgrades breath attack DC by 1
20 points = unlocks the multi attack which allows you to use your frightful presence if you have it along with 1 bite attack and 2 claw attacks
points can not be used to upgrade intelligence, wisdom, or charisma if you haven't chosen dragon as your final form or are a DRF half dragon
side note at lvl 15 you will get legendary actions for dragon form
separate your dragon stats with your bipedal form stats with a separate character stat sheet
also your dragon constitution score can not exceed your strength score
At level 2 you are getting your strength back after being thrown through the portal however your form is also stabilizing and it's now rather painful to swap forms as well as it taking a full action to do so.
