Personality: Ptelea is a bit of a recluse, ignored by most because of her inability to speak. She communicates primarily through body language and sometimes writing. As a mute, she is shunned by many and in her former Tribe was never allowed a rank. Despite her treatment by others, Ptelea is always willing to help if she can. She does, however, have a tendency to be hostile toward other females, due to a female having caused her muteness.

Fears: Ptelea fears never being accepted by anyone because she is mute.
 
Strengths: Ptelea is a Dragoness of many talents. She can identify all manner of harmful plants. Despite being unable to speak, she can easily manipulate a male to get what she wants. She is can hold her own in a fight pull objects twice her weight.

Weaknesses: She is mentally weak, can't speak, and can't stand extreme heat or cold. She is vulnerable to Light based attacks.

General Appearance
Height: 40ft
Scales: Blue and black, standard reptile shape.
Eyes: Lilac purple
Appearance: Unlike her brother, Ptelea has six limbs--four legs, wings on her back. Her scales are mostly black, with light blue accent patterns on her face, neck, and sides. She has long scars wrapping around her neck from the attack. Her claws are jagged. Ptelea carried a single flower with her, the flower for which she is named. It is usually tucked under a wing when she isn't flying or held by her tail.

Skills and Abilities
Special Abilities: Black Ice: Ptelea can cover her extremities (legs, tail, claws) in ice spikes that are filled with a sleeping gas. The gas is most potent when delivered by the shards on her tail or covering her claws, taking full effect (sleep) in five posts after delivery for Dragons smaller than herself. For Dragons larger than Ptelea, the full effect takes place after six-seven posts--depending on how much bigger than are. Dragons the same size as her (or only two feet bigger or smaller) experience drowsiness after three posts. Gas delivered by the spikes on her legs has hardly any effect on smaller opponents--possibly causing drowsiness--and none at all on larger opponents. The gas, as it isn't as potent as that of a purebred NightWing, wears off after one post.

Background
History: Ptelea was born in captivity along with her brother, Atarijor XVI. Unlike her brother, who endured hardships for most of his life, Ptelea escaped a life of cruelty early on. The humans wrongly assumed Ptelea had been born dead and, as what usually happened to dead Dragons, she was tossed outside to become food for animals or harvested by other humans. Once outside, however, she awoke after a few couple hours and ran away under the cover of darkness. The next day, she was captured by humans who took her to a small village. She was broken and put to work once she was big enough. Her work consisted mainly of pulling stones and timber.

A year later Ptelea escaped. Not long after, she ran into a female Dragon near a tribe border. As she still smelled of human--and fearing Ptelea was sent to lure her into a human trap--the female attacked and nearly killed Ptelea. Ptelea's neck and throat suffered the most damaged. A pair of guardians had witnessed some of the incident and took Ptelea to a Healer. The Healer tended to her wounds but was unable to completely heal the most severe--a shredded larynx. Ptelea stayed with the tribe for a few years while she healed and adjusted to life as a free Dragon. Most didn't know of her injury at first and assumed she just ignored everyone--a few thought maybe she was deaf. Even after learning she couldn't speak, she was shunned by most of the tribe and eventually left, becoming a Rogue.
