The 10 year old Rebel (Tenebris's Reaction)
(This is read only, but generally as Tenebris is the adoptive father of Celestia I felt it necessary that his emotions should be noted in regards to "Ten year old rebel" topic as it has its own impact on Tenebris given as it is a very volatile and tender subject given their relationship and the fact Tenebris is torn between being a father figure and also pushing Celestia forward to find her destiny and fate within the NightWing Tribe).
The Citadel of Shadow's Refuge was ripe with tensions, only through Tenebris's unyielding prospect of order and efficiency had the Keep not fallen to anarchy and disorder. Sometimes minor incidents such as this were frequent, even happening once or twice a week on occasions but this was different, this was consistent. Until now Tenebris had allowed himself to believe that Celestia's curious and defiant nature was in the fault of the arrogance of youth, but this was no mere skipping of a lecture or court state craft. The atrium of the grand hall was empty, void of all souls apart from one. Tenebris sat on the risen dais at the far end of the hall which acted as his seat of office, the hour was late with the Scholars and Magistrates having departed for the night and even the stewards of the Citadel had retired to their slumber, yet Tenebris remained.
Positioned sat up right with all his regal domineering stature, it seemed as though his Lordship was holding court with only the lifeless architectural statues and banners what surrounded the walls of the hall. Deep in his musings Tenebris's serpentine tail coiled over his front ink stained talons. As Celestia had come to fruition in her age he understood the deep transition she now had underwent and the responsibilities now thrust upon her but he couldn't comprehend her sudden disappearance. With closed eyes in deep thought Tenebris's expression was one of disinterest and apathy but his heavy breathing betrayed his composure.
Tenebris was torn, when he found Celestia alone so long ago he swore to maintain a neutral role to be her custodian and guardian so that she could fulfil her destiny and take her rightful place as a spiritual paragon to represent the NightWing Tribe, what Tenebris wasn't prepared for was his affections for the Hatchling. First their relationship was necessary, she was an asset and Tenebris wasn't native enough to let her be raised by someone else's talons. In state craft the idea was to make her accept her role and duties to the Tribe above all else, as time passed however Tenebris's allowed himself to succumb to his emotions. First it was initially out of pity although it has developed far more complex, and now his daughter was gone and he wasn't sure what action to take and where to begin.
With a sight of frustration Tenebris scrapped his talons into the marble structure of the dais as fury began to overwhelm him. The sudden animosity what overwhelmed him seemed unprovoked as his stern expression distorted into a primal animalistic snarl. He was in conflict with himself as to who was the cause of Celestia's disappearance, could she be blamed for disregarding her duties? Was the fault himself, could of he done more. Was Oculus the root of the issue, his persistence to dominate and rule as a tyrant demanding Celestia serve under him. Tenebris wasn't sure where to direct his anger but recent events made it diluted as to who was the true igniter of this reaction. Opening his eerie ethereal eyes, they burnt like sapphires ablaze, he knew what he had to do now.

Tenebris's backstory
"Destiny isn't a matter of chance, its a matter of choice. Only we can claim our Destiny when the path opens" ~ Tenebris lamenting.
"Oftentimes in reality, the realists are in the position of the antihero. Neither those on the side of good, nor the side of bad really trust them, as their truth is universal." ~ Tenebris, Archon of the Ebonwing Potentate.
