#1: What is the state of technology/sciences in this world? I know that there are armorers and stuff, but do they have, say, compasses? maths? simple mechanical machines(crane, water wheel, etc)? do they know that the world is round(presumably)?

#2: If im already asking, might as well ask this too: Is this the usual level of activity, or is it some downtime this part of the year? I mean with 10 posts, im already on the top 10 posters list. And one round of IC posts in a thread per day seems rather slow to me. (then again, i might have just gotten used to the "shorter comments, more often" style over the years)

No, sites just slowly recovering after a large exodus, it should hopefully get more active. Plus, school is kicking my butt ;_;

I guess we reached the stage of simple mechanisms, nothing too fancy though.

And as Au stated, not only we lost a lot of active members due to some stupid drama but on top of that the rest are inactive due to school/work. So yeah we're at the lowest activity I ever saw.
We are trying to come up with a new lore and force a few plots, but even the staff is fairly inactive and the thread takes way too long.

Yeah true activity has been hit hard, sadly my own creativity has suffered, do to being busy with work and lack of inspiration. With the drama yeah we have lost a number of good guys, like Hyruu said we are looking to create new lore and plots to get the activity up.

Nevertheless, despite how DRF took a massive arrow to the knee activity-wise, I can assure you that you'll have a satisfactory time here. As for technology, I don't know, that's something kind opf wishy-washy in my mind.
